Alfre Woodard And Clarke Peters Among Cast In Netflix’s Upcoming Supernatural Series ‘The Boroughs’

Netflix is gearing up to release its new supernatural series The Boroughs, premiering on May 21.
Alfre Woodard, Clarke Peters, Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Denis O’Hare, Bill Pullman, Carlos Miranda, Jena Malone, Seth Numrich, and Alice Kremelberg headline this thrilling story about retirees and the monsters lurking among them.
The series centers on a retirement community where a grieving newcomer’s terrifying encounter leads him to join an unlikely team of heroes who uncover a chilling secret—their “golden years” are far more dangerous than anyone imagined.
Additional cast includes Ed Begley Jr., Dee Wallace, Eric Edelstein, Rafael Casal, Mousa Hussein Kraish, Beth Bailey, Karan Soni, Jane Kaczmarek, and more.
‘The Boroughs’ is created by Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, who also serve as showrunners and executive producers. The Duffer Brothers and Hilary Leavitt executive produce for Upside Down Pictures, with Ben Taylor directing the first two episodes. Additional episodes are directed by Augustine Frizzell (eps. 103, 104, 107, 108) and Kyle Patrick Alvarez (ps. 105, 106).
