Annie Ilonzeh, Tyler Lepley, And Mike Merrill Set For Psychological Thriller, 'Loving Venus'

Annie Ilonzeh, Tyler Lepley, and Mike Merrill are set to star in the upcoming psychological thriller Loving Venus, executive produced by Manny Halley. The film also features Cassandra Freeman, Sydney Mitchell, and Tobias Truvillion in supporting roles.

Loving Venus follows Venus, a woman seeking reinvention after relocating to a new city. As she reconnects with her best friend and begins a seemingly secure relationship with a charming businessman, buried trauma resurfaces in unexpected ways. Her past manifests through a haunting presence that blurs memory, desire, and reality, pushing Venus toward a tense emotional breaking point.

The film is directed by Jamal Hill, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jay Rene. Halley produces alongside Rodney Turner II under Manny Halley Productions, a division of Imani Media Group. A participant in California’s Film & Television Tax Credit Program, Loving Venus is currently being shopped to distributors.

Imani Media Group recently released Aftershock: The Nicole P Bell Story, which debuted in theaters nationwide in November 2025.
