DC Studios’ ‘Lanterns,’ Starring Aaron Pierre, Nicole Ari Parker, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Sherman Agustus, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Romeo Brown, And More Premieres On HBO Summer 2026

The highly anticipated DC Studios superhero drama ‘Lanterns’ is set to premiere in summer 2026 on HBO and HBO Max. Aaron Pierre (as John Stewart) and Kyle Chandler (as Hal Jordan) lead the series as two intergalactic policemen who are drawn to investigate a murder mystery in the U.S. Midwest.

The series is based on DC’s ‘Green Lantern’ comics and has longtime fans excited to see this new interpretation of the Green Lanterns’ story.

HBO CEO Casey Bloys confirmed the release window on November 20 during a slate presentation in New York City.
