'Deadly Squatters,' A Chilling New Psychological Thriller By Boogievision Creative Studio Is Now Streaming
Boogievision Creative Studio, the film and television company led by acclaimed writer, director, and producer Michael “Boogie” Pinckney, alongside his wife and producer/casting director Ashlee C. Pinckney, announces its upcoming psychological thriller Deadly Squatters, a terrifyingly timely film inspired by real-life headlines surrounding housing disputes, property invasions, and squatter rights.
Deadly Squatters, which is now streaming, blends home-invasion horror with psychological suspense, delivering a gripping story that asks a chilling modern question: What would you do if strangers claimed your home — and the law refused to help?

The film stars Jason Small (American Crime, Landman), Victoria Vanderberg (The Return), Yanni Brown, Hunter McGowan and Orlando Valentino (Carter High, King Ivory)
LOGLINE
When a married couple returns from vacation to find a young brother and sister living inside their home, they are trapped in a legal nightmare that forces them into close quarters with dangerous strangers whose seductive games and psychological terror threaten to destroy everything they love.
SYNOPSIS
Eugene and Laura Reed appear to have it all. Eugene is a novelist racing to complete his latest manuscript, while Laura, a therapist, dreams of starting a family. Their beautiful home is meant to be their sanctuary—until they return from a short getaway to find two strangers already inside.
Cassie and Tate, a mysterious brother and sister, claim legal rights as squatters. With the courts backlogged and police powerless to intervene, Eugene and Laura are forced to coexist with the intruders. What begins as an unsettling inconvenience quickly descends into psychological warfare.
Cassie and Tate are intelligent, manipulative, and disturbingly charismatic. Casual conversations turn into sinister “family games,” poisoned drinks, fabricated memories, and emotional mind traps. The situation takes a shocking turn when the siblings claim Eugene is their estranged father—a man who abandoned them years ago. Whether delusion, truth, or a carefully crafted lie, their obsession becomes deadly.
As secrets unravel and friends who attempt to help mysteriously disappear, Eugene and Laura are pushed to the brink. In a brutal final confrontation, the couple must fight for their marriage, their sanity, and their lives—leaving blood on the floors, bodies on the tiles, and love itself tested beyond its breaking point.
In addition to the feature film, Deadly Squatters – The Novel is now available on Amazon. Written by Michael “Boogie” Pinckney, the psychological thriller expands the world of the film, diving deeper into the twisted world and marks Boogievision’s continued expansion into multi-platform storytelling.
A GROWING SLATE OF ELEVATED THRILLERS
Deadly Squatters continues Boogievision Creative Studio’s momentum following the exclusive Peacock release of Reality TV Murders, a high-stakes mystery that fused true crime with reality television satire. The studio also recently wrapped production on The Loyalty Test, a sharp thriller centered on a viral YouTube host whose cheating exposés spiral into murder.
Founded by Michael “Boogie” Pinckney, Boogievision Creative Studio has quickly emerged as a creative hub for bold, culturally resonant storytelling across film, television, and digital platforms. Pinckney’s career began as an assistant director on acclaimed projects including Inside Man, Precious, Broad City, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent—experience that informs the studio’s cinematic, audience-driven approach.
“Deadly Squatters” taps into a fear that feels uncomfortably real right now,” said Pinckney. “The idea that your home—your safest place—can be taken from you, and the system won’t protect you, is terrifying. This film lives in that tension.”
Producer Ashlee C. Pinckney added:
“We’re intentional about telling stories that are entertaining, provocative, and socially relevant. This film does all three while delivering a relentless thriller experience.”
BEYOND FILMMAKING
In addition to its for-profit productions, Boogievision Creative Studio operates The Pinckney Foundation for the Arts, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring and training the next generation of creatives through fellowships, workshops, and educational initiatives—reinforcing the company’s commitment to impact, sustainability, and legacy.
