Pack your bags, grab your girls, and get ready for another trip! ‘Girls Trip 2’ is officially on the way, with filming set to begin this summer.
Tiffany Haddish confirmed the update in an interview with People, sharing, “I don’t know exactly where we’re going, but I know it’s somewhere exotic and somewhere we don’t normally go…We’re supposed to start shooting this summer.”
The original hit movie, directed by Malcolm D. Lee and co-written by Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver, starred Haddish, Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, and Jada Pinkett Smith as longtime friends who reignite their love lives, revive their careers, and rekindle their friendship during a wild trip to New Orleans’ Essence Music Festival. The Flossy Posse is set to reprise their roles, and producer Will Packer has teased that new friends may join the ensemble.
