Jeffrey Wright, Yolonda Ross, Priah Ferguson, Phillip Johnson Richardson, And Samiya Allen-Graham Among Stars Joining Kelvin Harrison Jr. In Jean-Michel Basquiat Biopic ‘Samo Lives’
Jean-Michel Basquiat’s legacy continues in the upcoming biopic ‘Samo Lives,’ which features a star-studded cast. Jeffrey Wright, Yolonda Ross, Priah Ferguson, Phillip Johnson Richardson, and Samiya Allen-Graham are among the actors joining Kelvin Harrison Jr. in this highly anticipated project.
While much of the plot remains undisclosed at this time, the film, directed by Julius Onah, will chart Basquiat’s meteoric rise to fame in New York City during late 1970s to early 1980s neo-expressionist art movement, with Harrison Jr. taking on the role of the late, acclaimed artist.
