Michael B. Jordan To Be Honored With The Outstanding Performer Of The Year Award At The 41st SBIFF
Michael B. Jordan will be honored with the Outstanding Performer of the Year Award at the 41st Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) on February 12 at the Arlington Theatre.
Jordan is being recognized for his widely acclaimed dual performance in ‘Sinners,’ which also earned him his first Academy Award nomination.
SBIFF Executive Director Roger Durling praised Jordan’s work in the history-making film, saying, “He does incredibly nuanced work creating two distinct characters—the brothers Smoke and Stack—and when they interact with each other, it’s pure alchemy. We’re pleased to honor him with our Outstanding Performer of the Year Award.”
