Mo-tivation Unlimited Releases The Official Trailer For #WorstChristmasEver, Featuring BJ Britt, Bill Bellamy, Tamala Jones, Shanti Lowry, Taja V. Simpson And Maurice Hall
Maurice Hall and Tony L. Patterson are ready to bring holiday chaos—and a little heart—to the big screen with their third feature, #WorstChristmasEver.
Britt stars as Billy Turner, a newly divorced workaholic with more emotional baggage than frequent flyer miles. Against his better judgment, Billy agrees to fly across the country for Christmas to see his young adult children — James (Tyler Lofton) and Haley (Mo Ashley) — plus his ex-wife Alicia (Shanti Lowry) and her very new fiancé Chris (played by Hall himself). Adding to the holiday mayhem are Billy’s best friends Larry (Bill Bellamy) and Cynthia (Tamala Jones), who try to keep him from spiraling into full-on Grinch mode. But holiday miracles come in all kinds of packages. For Billy, it’s Harmony Davis (Taja V. Simpson), a sharp lawyer who he literally stumbles upon during a failed attempt to drink away his holiday blues. What begins as chicken wings and banter soon turns into something a bit more complicated — and possibly, a second chance at love.
The ensemble also includes Sarah Gilman (CSI: Vegas), Carl McDowell (Ballers) and René Ashton (The Man in the Guesthouse). Written by Hall and Patterson — who also serve as producers under their respective banners, Mo-tivation Unlimited and PattersonHouse Productions — the film blends family dysfunction with romance, nostalgia, and holiday hilarity. #WorstChristmasEver is co-produced by Simpson & McGowan Studios, with Ricki Maslar heading up casting.
TRAILER
“When we set out to create this project, our goal was to craft memories that emphasize the importance of family, love, and resilience — especially during the holidays,” said Maurice Hall. “Think Almost Christmas meets Guess Who.”
