It’s official! Netflix’s romance film inspired by ‘Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite’ now has a title: ‘Don’t Ever Wonder,’ named after the fourth track on his iconic debut album, and it features a star-studded cast.
Nia Long and Larenz Tate lead an ensemble that includes Blair Underwood, Laz Alonso, Susan Kelechi Watson, Pauletta Washington, Dennis Haysbert, Chanté Adams, Algee Smith, Grasie Mercedes, Navia Robinson, and Yolonda Ross.
The film is co-written by Eugene Ashe and Kay Oyegun, with Ashe also directing. Producers include James Lopez, Charles D. King, and Poppy Hanks for MACRO Film Studios. Maxwell, John D. Hammond, Long, and Tate are executive producing.
Though the film’s plot remains undisclosed, one thing is clear: with a cast this legendary, ‘Don’t Ever Wonder’ is sure to take us on an ascension!
