The cast for Joe Robert Cole’s upcoming Netflix series, ‘All Sinners Bleed,’ has added another star. Gotham Award-winning actress Nicole Beharie will join the series alongside lead Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù and John Douglas Thompson.
This series is an adaptation of S.A Cosby’s 2023 thriller novel of the same name, and tells the story of the first Black sheriff (Dìrísù) in a small Bible Belt county who, while grieving the untimely death of his devout mother, is forced to lead the hunt for a serial killer that has been terrorizing his Black community for years in the name of God. Beharie will play Darlene Taylor, the girlfriend of Titus Crown (Dìrísù) in the story.
In addition to writing the screenplay, Cole will serve as showrunner and executive producer, and will direct multiple episodes, including the premiere. Cosby, The Obamas’ Higher Ground Productions, and Amblin Television are also on board as executive producers.
