Omari Hardwick To Star Opposite Cameron Monaghan In ‘Bosch’ Prequel Series, ‘Start Of Watch’ For MGM+

Omari Hardwick will star opposite Cameron Monaghan in the next installment of the ‘Bosch’ series, ‘Bosch: Start of Watch.’ This prequel chapter will explore Harry Bosch’s origin story, the character originally played by Titus Welliver in both the original and sequel series. Monaghan steps into the role of Bosch, portraying him in his rookie years, while Hardwick is set to portray his training officer, police veteran Eli Bridges.

‘Bosch: Start of Watch,’ is set in 1991 Los Angeles, amid gang violence, racial tension, civil unrest, and a corrupt LAPD. The story follows a 26-year-old Bosch as his loyalty to the badge is tested when he’s pulled into a high-profile heist and criminal corruption.

The series is produced by Fabel Entertainment, and co-created and executive produced by Tom Bernardo and Brian Anthony. Michael Connelly, Henrik Bastin, Jamie Boscardin Martin, Jasmine Russ, and Theresa Snider also serve as executive producers.
