Trouble’s back on board. But this time, it’s underground. Apple TV has officially announced that Season 2 of the Emmy Award–winning series ‘Hijack’ will return, with a two-episode premiere on January 14, 2026.
This season, hijackers take control of a Berlin underground train, forcing authorities to scramble to save hundreds of lives before it’s too late.
Idris Elba reprises his lead role as Sam Nelson, alongside returning cast members Christine Adams, Max Beesley, and Archie Panjabi. They are joined by newcomers Clare-Hope Ashitey, Christian Näthe, Lisa Vicari, Toby Jones, Karima McAdams, and Christiane Paul.
Season 2 will feature eight episodes in total, with additional episodes released weekly through February 25, 2026.
