Shaquita Smith Receives ACE Honors Best Actress Nomination For ‘Vanished’ And Celebrates New Book Release
Lifetime Achievement Award–winning actress Shaquita Smith continues to earn acclaim, receiving a Best Actress (I) category nomination from the ACE Honors (Awards for Creative Excellence) for her powerful performance as Shavon in Okirike I. Okirike’s thriller ‘Vanished.’
The ACE Honors celebrate creatives who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their respective fields, and this year’s awards ceremony is set to take place on March 21 at 4:00 p.m. in the Atlanta City Hall Atrium.
The nomination coincides with the release of Smith’s newly co-authored book with Glenn Marsden, ‘Imperfectly Perfect Campaign,’ Vol. 3, in which she offers a raw and reflective account of her perseverance in the chapter “The Things You Don’t See.”
From all of us at TheBlkScript, congratulations to Shaquita Smith on this well-deserved honor!
