The new Queen Mother has arrived. Sheila Atim is set to star as Akasha, the original vampire, in Season 3 of ‘The Vampire Lestat,’ coming to AMC+ in 2026.
‘The Vampire Lestat’ (formerly titled ‘Interview with the Vampire’ in Seasons 1 and 2) now shifts focus to the second novel in Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, on which the series is based. Atim will take on the iconic role of The Great Mother of Vampires in this highly anticipated new chapter.
