Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù To Lead, Victor Alli Among Cast In Amazon MGM’s Remake Of ‘A Colt Is My Passport’
Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù is set to star in Amazon MGM’s reimagining of Takashi Nomura’s 1967 Japanese crime thriller ‘A Colt Is My Passport.’ Victor Alli also joins the cast alongside Tim Roth, Jack Reynor, Lucy Boynton, Ewan Mitchell, Burn Gorman, and Noah Taylor.
The remake is set in 1978 Detroit and tells the story of a Vietnam veteran named Colt, who becomes a contract killer and goes on the run after assassinating a notorious crime boss.
Production for the film has officially wrapped. Chris Webb wrote the screenplay, Gareth Evans directed and produced, and Ed Talfan served as co-producer. Executive producers included Shinjiro Nishimura (Nikkatsu) and Dave Caplan (C2 Motion Picture Group).
