Spence Moore II And Charlie Mann Tapped To Play Young Ghost And Tommy In ‘Power: Origins’ Prequel For Starz
Starz has revealed the leads for its upcoming prequel series Power: Origins. Spence Moore II will take on the role of young Ghost, while Charlie Mann will portray young Tommy, stepping into the iconic characters first played by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora.
The series will explore the early lives of Ghost and Tommy as ambitious friends hustling their way through New York City. MeKai Curtis is also set to return as Kanan Stark, continuing his journey from Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
Power: Origins will be the fourth installment in the franchise, following Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force, which premieres its third and final season on November 7.
Sascha Penn serves as showrunner and executive producer, co-writing the pilot with Courtney A. Kemp, the original creator of Power. Executive producers also include Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Mark Canton, Chris Selak, Kevin Fox, and Pete Chatmon, with Lionsgate Television producing for Starz.
