Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner Taraji P. Henson is expanding her partnership with Netflix through a new two-picture deal that will see her both star in and produce two upcoming films under her company, TPH Entertainment.
Henson’s collaboration with the streamer follows the success of Straw, her first Netflix original feature, which premiered in June 2025. The film dominated Netflix’s Global Top 10 Movies (English) list for five consecutive weeks and amassed over 106 million views worldwide.
“Partnering with Netflix on this two-picture deal is an exciting new chapter for me,” Henson shared. “Storytelling has the power to inspire and connect us, and I’m grateful to continue doing that on a global platform with Netflix.”
This new venture marks another major step for Henson as she continues to bring powerful stories and dynamic performances to screens worldwide.
