Teaser Trailer For 'Morty' Directed By Chandler Crump Released Under Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw No Drama Program
The film follows a teenage girl (Dominique Gayle) who, after giving her little brother (Tiberius Byrd) a stuffed animal linked to an online counterpart, begins to notice sinister changes in his behavior.
‘Morty’ is executive produced by Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions as part of their NO DRAMA short-film development initiative, launched last fall and powered by the Universal Filmmakers Project and TIFF. The program supports writer-directors who are passionate about telling horror-centered stories. Samantha Garcia is also attached as producer to the film.
Chandler Crump, a San Francisco native currently based in NYC, is among the filmmakers selected for the inaugural initiative, which aims to enrich their creative process and further their filmmaking careers.
