Tichina Arnold Signs Exclusive Deal With CBS For Her Production Company, Queen Light Productions
Tichina Arnold is expanding her footprint behind the camera after signing an exclusive development deal with CBS Studios through her production company, Queen Light Productions in which she launched with her sister, Zenay Arnold. The partnership positions Arnold to develop and produce new television projects for the studio while continuing to build her growing slate of original content.
The veteran actress, widely known for her work in television and film, revealed that she is already developing several projects under the deal. While she kept most details under wraps, Arnold teased a potential biographical project centered on a well-known female singer whose life story could translate powerfully to the screen.
“I have a few projects that I’m working on. One project I’m not going to say because the last time I said it, it happened, but it didn’t happen with me, so I’m not going to put it out there yet. But it’s a project about a very prominent woman and singer who had a very interesting life. So I’m going to revisit that, but will leave you on a cliffhanger until I can share more.”
With the new agreement, Arnold joins a growing list of creatives developing original programming with CBS Studios, signaling the next phase of her career as a producer and storyteller.
