Universal Execs Are Uncertain Of Making Another ‘Fast & Furious’ Film Unless There Are $50M In Budget Cuts

According to reports, there’s no approved script, no official release date and most of the cast don’t have deals to return as of now. There are reports that the latest draft of the Fast X: Part 2 script had costs around US$250 million, which is still above what Universal wants. They need another $50M in cuts. Universal reportedly won’t greenlight the sequel unless its budget is cut substantially.
