Willow Smith, John Boyega, Teyana Taylor, Anna Sawai, And John Cho Join Kid Cudi In Anime-Inspired Sci-Fi Monster Pic ‘Slime’
The upcoming feature debut by Jeron Baxter, ‘Slime,’ is shaping up to be a star-studded sci-fi event. Willow Smith, John Boyega, Teyana Taylor, Anna Sawai, and John Cho have officially joined Kid Cudi in the highly anticipated film.
The film follows protagonist Muna (Smith), a poor young woman who enters a paid clinical trial for the money. However, when she is injected with an unknown creature’s slime during the trial, she develops uncontrollable destructive powers and goes on the run after kidnapping Glenn (Cudi), the lab worker who administered the shot. They race against time in search of refuge and cure, but as Muna’s powers grow, they are confronted with one question: is she a new villain or a savior?
‘Slime’ is written by Brian Ash. Producers include Alex Lebovici, Cudi, Karina Manashil, Smith, and Aaron Bergman.
